Eh, I should probably redo the top part of the mane...Now that I look at it again, it does look a bit scruffy.....

I really like the style of of this drawing. The face of the lion has amazing structure and I like the lion's composure. Although it is a sketch I think there could be a little more contrast of colours on the lions face. It seems you have rushed the fur a bit however I don't know whether this is stylistic or not. Although drawing fur is a tedious job, if you take time you can get a much better result. On the top of the lions head the hair is a bit scruffy. Lions tend to have soft manes. It sticks up a bit too much there - try and use a mechanical pencil and flick the pen upwards so that it ends at a fine point. However overall I love the piece and I think that it's very good!! Keep up the great work!!!!!

This is really good! It's beautiful, acutally. I love how you texturized the fur on his face, 'cuz I can imagine just reaching out an touching it. The mane is a bit scribbly, but it's okay because it's just a sketch. And, also, it's a wild animal, and I suppose it has to look like such... Wow, I sound so sophisticated haha XD...I'm 12 so it's odd... anyway! This says 100 word minimum...turns out 100 words is a decent amount. Oh, and, sorry, one more thing, the bump over the eye on the other side of the head may not have been nessasary to include, if this was meant to be a side view. This is what I do a lot with my pictures, if I think something looks a little off... I put my finger over the area and see what the drawing would look like without it. And I did this with yours and think it may look better without that. So, I guess... hmm....to sum this up, I'd say, good job! This is a great sketch.
