this drawing is just too awesome... the feathers are so detailed to different colors, similar to that of a real phoenix (although i havent actually seen one yet... mostly those with flames which covers the feathers real color)
i also find the feathers a little not too stretched out to make me see its whole length but anyway its still very nice... i also like what you did with the eyes and the background... their all so nicely done...
the circling of the body of the phoenix also makes the eyes go around the whole drawing, making it more appealing to the eyes and guides it in exploring more regions so great job ^^
